  enabling the store
Question/Comment:

Hi-

We're beginning to set up the store. I've enabled the store but it doesn't show up on the landing page. Do we have to eliminate a different button to accomodate it? How does the store work once it is working? We would like to have an order form that is mailed to an email address. We do not want to have it accomodate payment- just ordering. The customer will then go to a local store to pick it up.

The store has to be configured before it can be used.  We need to know if you want to accept credit cards.  If you do, then we have to get you set up with the apropriate accounts.  If you don't, we have to know how you want to handle payment so we can configure the payment aspect of the store.

Based upon your verbage above, we'll need to see if this store can work.  The store has people create orders and they are presented with a payment screen.  We could turn the payment screen into a summary screen, but your vendor will still have to get the order information.

Right now the store is created to be a store where people select things to put in their cart and then pay for them.

As to buttons, all buttons on your site are programmed in.  Therefore, we have to add buttons for you. No, you don't have to eliminate a button.  Instead, we simply add one to the left once we know this store can work for you.

You can visit the public side of the store at:

However, do not give that address out or it will allow people to visit your store even when disabled.

Thanks,
